The EMG SA/SA/89 kit is an excellent choice for those who want to breathe new life into their Strat.
With two EMG SA single pickups in the neck and middle positions, it produces that clear, warm sound so appreciated on the Strat. But it's the EMG 89 bridge pickup that really makes the difference: thanks to a small push-button, it lets you switch from a powerful humbucker sound to a simple, sharper coil, ideal for varying ambiences.
The real bonus is the ease of installation. There's no need to solder, everything just plugs in. Even if you're not an electronics pro, you can easily change your set to experiment. And because these are active microphones, the sound is always clean, with no hiss and a clear, responsive sound.
Everything you need is included: volume and tone controls, 5-position selector switch, cables, stereo jack and screws.
Powered by a 9V battery (sold separately), the kit provides ample autonomy for long playing sessions.
