The EMG SLVX Ivory pickup set features an impressively simple S/S/S configuration. Part of the X Series, it features an internal preamp for enhanced dynamics, extended headroom and a consistently sharp response.
Alnico magnets add warmth to a controlled, clean and breathless signal. The winding is denser than on the original SLV model, boosting output power. The result is pickups that are close to the strings and pick up every keystroke with authority. The treble is managed via an active VLPF control, which works like a passive pot without weighing down the signal. Installation remains intuitive thanks to the EMG solderless system. Everything connects neatly, with no bridge ground.
