ESI Audiotechnik - Neva OTG

With the Neva OTG, ESI Audiotechnik offers an audio interface designed from the outset to link the world of the studio with that of mobile streaming. Its dual USB-C port architecture enables simultaneous connection of a computer and a mobile device, so that audio processed on a PC or Mac can be streamed or recorded in real time to a smartphone or tablet. This hardware approach, which is still rare on the market, considerably simplifies livestreaming, podcasting and hybrid content creation configurations.

The input section is based on two XLR / 6.35 mm jack combo inputs, each equipped with a microphone preamp with +48 V phantom power and a switchable Hi-Z mode. This configuration allows recording of dynamic or condenser microphones, as well as guitars, basses or line sources, with up to 50dB of gain. Independent gain controls and peak indicators make it easy to fine-tune levels, both in the studio and in live broadcast situations.

On the output side, Neva OTG features stereo line outputs on TRS jacks for connection to monitor speakers or a broadcast system, with a dedicated master volume control. An independent headphone output with level control allows precise monitoring. Switchable hardware direct monitoring ensures latency-free monitoring of input sources, essential for vocal takes, instrumental performances or streaming sessions.

At the heart of the Neva OTG is its ability to communicate simultaneously with a computer and a mobile device. The main USB-C port provides the audio connection to the PC or Mac, while a second USB-C OTG port or analogue TRRS connection allows the signal to be sent to a phone or tablet. This makes it possible to use any streaming, video conferencing or mobile recording application, while benefiting from the audio quality and processing of the main workstation.
