Martinez Almeria Luthier Maple The Martinez Almeria Luthier Maple makes a powerful impression right from the very first flamenco chords. A solid spruce top, solid maple back and mahogany neck combine to produce a crisp tone. The Fishman Presys preamp connects the guitar to the sound system on stage with a single plug.

Presentation
The Martinez Almeria Luthier Maple responds to the sharp tap of the thumb from the very first strike, with that short, snappy attack characteristic of flamenco. The solid spruce top returns the golpe with a sharp high-pitched sound, without lingering in the lower registers. The gloss finish preserves this bite under the fingers.
The solid maple back gives the body a light tone, a far cry from the deep bass of rosewood. The mahogany neck provides a stable grip, and the ebony fingerboard allows the strings to glide smoothly during rasgueados. At the rosewood bridge, the vibration is transmitted without loss to the top, and the 650 mm scale length maintains a classic tension. The 50 mm nut and 75 mm sides create a slim body ideal for seated playing.
The Fishman Presys preamp connects this Almeria Luthier Maple to a stage without the need for an external microphone. The built-in tuner means there’s no need for a separate tuner, and the three-band equaliser adjusts the bass, midrange and treble. The notch filter cuts feedback when the volume rises, and the phase inversion corrects the sound when used with a stage microphone. The balance control between the two pickups adjusts the mix between the piezo and the internal pickup.
Manufactured in China as part of the Almeria Luthier series, this natural-coloured electro-acoustic flamenco guitar comes with a gig bag, ready for both lessons and the stage.

The name ‘Almeria’ refers to the Martinez family, who specialise in classical and flamenco guitars. The Maple model features an all-solid wood construction: spruce for the top, maple for the back and sides, mahogany for the neck and ebony for the fingerboard. It has a scale length of 650 mm, with a nut width of 50 mm. The electric version is fitted with a Fishman Presys preamp featuring a tuner, three-band equaliser, notch filter, volume control, pickup balance and phase reversal. The guitar thus combines traditional luthiery choices with electronics designed for amplification on stage or in the studio.
