Nylon-Strings Electro Acoustic Guitar
The Martinez Crossover MP14-RS RN classical guitar is part of a hybrid concept designed to bridge the worlds of nylon-string guitars and modern amplified playing. Its crossover design combines a compact body with a 48 mm nut width, making it easy to play for guitarists accustomed to folk or electric guitars. The solid spruce top, paired with rosewood, delivers a precise tonal balance, with articulate response and consistent projection across a range of musical contexts.

Presentation
The Martinez Crossover MP14-RS RN opens up a wide range of possibilities for contemporary styles, from fingerstyle to acoustic pop. Its slim neck makes chord changes easier and encourages a fluid approach to nylon-string playing.
The compact body alters the instrument’s overall feel, whilst access to the higher registers via the cutaway allows you to explore more expansive melodic lines without being constrained by fingering position.
The solid spruce top delivers a clear attack, which is useful for maintaining definition in rhythmic playing or arpeggios. The rosewood back and sides reinforce the bass response and support a broader tonal spectrum.
The Martinez SFT amplification system combines a piezo pickup with a condenser microphone, offering versatile sound reproduction.
It features built-in effects (reverb, chorus and delay) that add more complex textures, even without an amp!
The MP14-RS RN is equipped with a sound engine that vibrates the back of the instrument, allowing the effects to be amplified without the need for a nearby amplifier.
