Martinez - Standard MC-128S EN + Étui

The Martinez Standard MC-128S EN + Case is an instrument that draws on classical luthiery, where the choice of timbers takes centre stage. This 4/4 classical guitar from the Standard series combines a solid spruce top with a solid rosewood back and sides. The spruce provides a crisp attack and well-defined mid-range, whilst the rosewood lends a richer bass response. It is equally at home in the conservatoire or in recital settings, from Baroque to Spanish pieces.

The Spanish-style mahogany neck features a double-action truss rod to assist with neck adjustments. Its rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets and features mother-of-pearl inlays at the 5th, 7th and 9th frets. The 650 mm scale length follows the classic design, with a 52 mm bone nut that provides the fingers with the space needed to form chords and positions with precision.

The natural wood mosaic rosette frames the top, with maple and ebony purfling that emphasises its contours. On the back, the maple purfling extends this line all the way to the rosewood bridge. Inside, the Spanish fan bracing supports the soundboard and enhances its resonance without making it too rigid.

The gold-plated Martinez 48/58 tuning machines and gold-coloured hardware complete the package, along with the 6 Martinez strings. The high-gloss natural finish allows the rosewood and spruce to show off their grain. The case supplied protects the guitar during transport. The guitar is manufactured in China.
