Martinez - Standard MC-58S RN + Housse

The Martinez Standard MC-58S RN + Case is a 6-string 4/4 classical guitar from the Standard series. Its 650 mm (25.6") scale length provides a familiar feel under the fingers. The mahogany neck features a Spanish joint and an adjustable double-action truss rod to adjust its curvature. The rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets, 12 of which extend to the body, with mother-of-pearl inlays at the 5th, 7th and 9th frets to help you find your positions.

The solid spruce top responds quickly to the touch and produces a clear acoustic tone, with a Spanish fan bracing pattern that distributes vibrations across the top. The Indian rosewood back adds a warm, woody quality to the bass notes. At the bridge, the 52 mm (2.04") bone nut and bone bridge saddle transmit the attack with clarity.

Indian rosewood is used again for the binding on the top and back. On the top, the maple and ebony purfling forms a fine border, complemented by maple on the back and sides. The mosaic rosette, inlaid with natural wood, adds its pattern around the soundhole. A natural high-gloss PU finish covers the entire instrument and protects the wood.

Gold-plated Martinez 48/58 tuning machines and gold-plated hardware are fitted to the instrument, along with Martinez strings fitted as standard. This classical guitar, manufactured in China, is designed for learning and studying the classical repertoire. The gig bag makes it easy to transport and store. Martinez also offers a cutaway version fitted with a Fishman ISY-301.
