Rme - Fireface 802

RME's Fireface 802 is a 60-channel high-definition audio interface with 4 professional-quality preamps and reference converters. The Fireface 802 has 12 analogue and 18 digital inputs and outputs, all available simultaneously. Low-latency operation and stability come from RME's proprietary USB and FireWire drivers and hardware.

SteadyClock technology ensures high-quality sound from input to output. In the event of an external clock source failure, Intelligent Clock Control (ICC) retains the last valid input sample rate. All Fireface 802 hardware and software is fully compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems.

Driven by two DSP chips, the TotalMix FX software provides a complete virtual digital mixer and signal router with built-in EQ, dynamics and reverb/echo. The software's built-in monitoring controller lets you assign any physical output as a master or headphone output.

Talkback, listenback, mono, dim, recall and external inputs will automatically operate on the assigned monitor control channels.

The Fireface 802 also offers 6 memory locations for permanently saving different TotalMix configurations, which can be recalled without a computer. The TotalMix FX app for iPad allows full control of all functions without connection to a computer. The Fireface 802 is supplied with a driver CD, USB cable, IEC power cable and optical cable.
