The Seymour Duncan Antiquity JB/Jazz Set, with its Alnico V magnets and Zebra color, is a tribute to the pickups of the 1970s.
They are designed for the neck and bridge positions and deliver a tone rich in harmonics. They fuse sustain, distortion and clarity. With aged Alnico V magnets and a simulated aging process, these pickups generate a unique tone. It is characterized by cutting mids in the bridge position. In the neck position, it gives more to an enveloping warmth.
Handcrafted with the same materials as in the era, this kit uses a nickel silver base, a maple spacer, aged butyrate bobbins, and a raw Alnico V magnet.
Their resistance is 7.60 kΩ at the neck and 16.6 kΩ at the bridge, offering sonic nuances that will delight you. Featuring single-conductor passive electronics, this model benefits from exclusive aesthetic and electronic treatment. It flawlessly duplicates the look and sound of the original 70s pickups.
