The Shure QLXD4 L52 Wireless Receiver is a state-of-the-art piece of equipment designed to capture and process audio signals transmitted by wireless transmitters, such as the QLXD2 handheld microphones or QLXD1 bodypack transmitters.
Combining professional features with streamlined setup and operation, the QLXD4 is an integral part of the QLX-D digital wireless system.

The QLXD4 quickly scans available frequencies and synchronizes with the transmitter via an infrared (IR) link. Channel scanning detects the clearest frequencies and shares them among multiple receivers.
Digital predictive switching diversity then ensures a stable RF connection by detecting interference and switching to another frequency, while AES-256-bit encryption ensures transmission confidentiality.

In terms of construction, the QLXD4 is equipped with a backlit LCD display that allows for intuitive navigation and control of settings. It also features frequency and power locking. The rugged die-cast aluminum housing ensures good wear resistance.

With Shure Wireless Workbench and ShurePlus Channels software, users can monitor and adjust receiver settings remotely from a PC, Mac, or iOS device.

This feature allows for responsiveness in live situations where changes need to be made quickly.

The use of the RF spectrum is very efficient: a total of 22 transmitters can occupy each 8 MHz channel, ensuring optimal use of the available space, here on the L52 carrier frequency band (632 / 694 MHz).

Finally, the QLXD4 offers 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio conversion, ensuring accurate and faithful sound reproduction. With a latency of only 2.9 ms, this receiver ensures perfect synchronization with audio sources, which is crucial for live performances.
