The Waldorf Blofeld plugin transforms the brand's classic synthesizer into a complete software instrument, delivering the famous Waldorf sound directly to digital audio workstations. Its powerful wavetable engine generates distinctive digital timbres inspired by historic PPG synthesizers.

The Synth section brings together all the essential tools for creating sound, including oscillators, wavetables, filters, envelopes and LFOs. This architecture allows you to quickly create complex textures, evolving layers or punchy leads, while retaining the iconic sonic character of the Blofeld.

The plug-in incorporates a 16-part multimode so that several sounds can be used simultaneously. Each part can be configured independently with MIDI channel, keyboard zone and dynamics, making it easy to create rich layers, keyboard splits or multi-instrument structures. This feature is particularly useful for soundtrack composers and electronic producers.

The advanced modulation matrix is another highlight of the Blofeld plugin. It features 16 assignable connections and modifiers for combining several sources. This flexibility makes it possible to create complex sound movements, ideal for evolving pads, ambient textures and experimental sound design.

The built-in arpeggiator offers 15 predefined patterns and a comprehensive editor for creating custom sequences. This makes it easy to create rhythmic patterns, electronic sequences and animated textures without the need for external tools.

The sample browser also lets you import your own wavesets and assign them to the oscillators, with root key and loop point settings. This extends the capabilities of the plug-in to hybrid sounds combining wavetable synthesis and sampling.
