Presentation
The iD14 MKII offers the audio performance of a large-format console in a compact, elegant design. This interface features two Class A preamps equipped with Burr-Brown converters, a DI JFET input and the exclusive iD ScrollControl function. Thanks to its versatile features and intuitive layout of the various controls, the iD14 will quickly become a must-have in your studio!
The Audient iD14 interface offers two mic preamp channels and a harmonically rich JFET DI input. Designed to replicate the input stage of a conventional tube amplifier, you can plug in your guitar, bass, keyboard or drum machine straight away and start recording instantly.
The iD14 puts you in control of your software with the unit's ScrollControl ID. At the touch of a button, the unit's volume encoder becomes a virtual scroll wheel that lets you adjust DAW hosts, plug-in settings, the iD14's mixing application and even scroll through your iTunes library - just as you would adjust a piece of gear. This wheel completely replaces your computer mouse.
When you're not using the virtual scroll wheel, the iD button can be assigned to control the iD14's monitoring functions, including DIM monitoring, CUT, Polarity Reverse, Mono Sum, Talkback and Cue Mix, all of which can be assigned to the iD button.
The optical input connector supports both ADAT or S/PDIF, allowing you to extend up to ten inputs via an eight-channel mic preamp, such as the ASP880.
