The ND 76's crisp, clear and balanced vocal presence is ideal for versatile voice applications.
Its capsule contains a large Mylar diaphragm, which delivers a rich, detailed frequency response by combining its large surface area for tonal balance with low-mass, high-velocity material for exceptionally fast transient response.
The microphone head features an innovative capsule shock-absorber system, consisting of a four-point suspension around the perimeter of the capsule and combined with a pneumatic pump tuned to the base of the capsule, providing superior handling noise reduction to eliminate mechanical vibration and noise in the mix.
