The Kala brand presents its Solid Body U-Bass 4 strings Metallic Red, a compact electric bass inspired by the famous California U-Bass series.
It is made of an okoume body, a material renowned in lutherie for its lightness. It is therefore an easy-to-carry instrument. What's more, it comes with a protective cover.
The body of this electric bass is profiled to ensure its balance and your playing comfort.
The okoume also gives it its sound quality: a thick sound with good resonance.
In order to best capture the acoustic quality of this Solid Body, Kala equips it with a passive split coil microphone. You can adjust the volume and tone using the two potentiometers on the small electric bass.
To ensure the precision and tuning stability of its Round Wounds strings, the instrument is equipped with closed mechanisms with a 1:18 gear ratio.
While the Californian manufacturer ensures the performance of this compact model, it does not neglect its aesthetics.
It sports a glossy finish and a white pickguard to bring out the bright red of its asymmetrical body.
