Martinez - Hispania Natural + Housse

A classical guitar that charges via a USB cable: that’s what Martinez offers with the Hispania Natural, an instrument that challenges the usual conventions of nylon-string guitars. The chambered solid-body design makes the instrument lighter without sacrificing the soundbox, a rare compromise between the playability of an electric guitar and the character of a classical guitar.

The flamed maple top features a grain that catches the light as much as it catches the eye, whilst the mahogany sides and back lend warmth and roundness to the bass tones. The C-shaped neck, also carved from mahogany, meets a rosewood fingerboard, beneath fingers that glide from one chord to the next with a smooth, even feel. The two-way truss rod keeps the neck stable, and the 48 mm nut, combined with the bone bridge saddle, ensures the nylon strings are perfectly in tune.

On the electronics front, the piezo and body pickup combination feeds the DerJung M1BN-A2B preamp, with separate controls for piezo volume, body pickup volume, a three-band EQ and an effects control. A headphone jack and a USB-C connection for the lithium battery round off this package, designed for both stage and studio use. It comes with a gig bag, in 4/4 size and with a natural gloss PU lacquer finish.
