The Hispania series features a design that differs from that of traditional classical guitars. Its 46 mm body incorporates resonance chambers, with a flamed maple top, a mahogany back and sides, as well as a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard.
Martinez pairs this with the SG1 system, developed in collaboration with Double Acoustic, which combines a piezo pickup and an internal microphone. The electronics incorporate two DSP modules with reverb and delay. The guitar has a 3.5 mm headphone output and a USB-C OTG port. This connection allows for direct recording to a computer or smartphone, without the need for an external audio interface.
