Neumann - KM 183 STEREO SET
The Neumann KM 183 Stereo Set is a matched pair of small diaphragm condenser microphones with an omnidirectional pattern. The KM183 is world renowned for capturing precise and clean sound from a wide variety of acoustic instruments, such as acoustic guitars, wind instruments, strings, percussion and drums. This KM183NI Stereo Set pair is a matched pair to create an AB pair to capture the ambience of a room, transferring these particular acoustic qualities to a stereo recording. The KM 183 is also an excellent microphone for pianos, choirs, organs, winds, etc. The NI designation at the end of the KM183 is due to its nickel finish. The matched pair is also available in a matte black finish, contact one of our Sonovente advisors if you are interested. The KM183-NI Stereo Set comes in a wooden case, with 2 WNS100 windscreens, and 2 SG 21 clips.

Presentation
The microphones feature omnidirectional condenser capsules and are designed for sound reinforcement and live sound applications as well as recording sessions. The transformerless circuitry and balanced output provide high output gain with very low noise and no coloration of the output signal. The KM 183 is powered by +48V phantom power.
The stereo pair is matched in sensitivity and frequency response and provides optimum results for recording sessions, whether for ambient or close-range recording on instruments.
The frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz offers great flexibility in a wide range of recording situations. The omnidirectional polar pattern of the KM 183 allows for a generous pickup width, and is suitable for ambient or on instruments such as piano, wind instruments, organ and choirs. The KM 183 accepts high sound pressure levels of up to 140 dB, which allows for close miking of instruments with high transient response.
