Novastar - SFP 10G Monomode 1310 nm

The Novastar 10G single-mode 1310 nm SFP module is designed to be fitted directly into Novastar equipment featuring an SFP optical interface. It allows the module currently installed in the device to be supplemented or replaced without altering the entire transmission infrastructure.

It operates using a single-mode fibre and a wavelength of 1310 nm. This combination allows the link to be extended up to 10 km, with a data rate of between 9.95 and 11.30 Gb/s. The module thus meets the needs of installations where processing equipment and LED screens are separated by a significant distance, particularly where cabling needs to reach another technical area or span a large site.

The choice of an LC connector ensures compatibility with many fibre accessories used in transmission infrastructures. The SFP can therefore be used with the compatible fibre cables and reels available for NovaStar installations, without the need for connector conversion. This standardised interface also simplifies the replacement of a module when the existing configuration needs to be retained.

Compatibility is one of the key advantages of this model. The NovaStar 10G Single-mode 1310 nm SFP can be installed on several generations and families of equipment fitted with an optical SFP port, including the MCTRL4K, CVT4K-S, MCTRL660 PRO, R5, Pro HD, UHD Jr. and UHD. It can therefore be used with various NovaStar architectures without requiring a change of processor or converter.
