The sE2300 from SE Electronics is the multi-directional version of the famous sE2200.
Its 1' condenser capsule is hand-made.
Unlike other electret microphones, the sE2300 has a true externally polarised condenser capsule, offering the best possible performance in every aspect.
Its discrete components are carefully selected and guarantee exceptional sound quality on all sources.
With attenuation down to -20dB, you can use this microphone to record even the most powerful instruments, from heavy electric guitars on amps to brass and percussion instruments.
Reviving the spirit of classic studio microphones, the sE2300's custom transformer gives
depth and weight to the overall sound image, and the solidly shielded metal housing ensures noise-free operation.

The sE2300 also comes with sE's isolation pack, consisting of a customised shock mount, an integrated pop filter and a thread adaptor that fits any mic stand.
The isolation pack:
The quick-release mechanism at the base of this suspension makes it easy to insert and remove a mic - no screws, no fuss, just a twist to secure or release. And the integrated metal pop filter can be positioned vertically to accommodate any compatible microphone, or removed completely from the shock mount, if you wish.
