The T2 from SE Electronics is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with multi-directivity and integrated suspension. Based on the chassis and features of the famous 4400a, but with the original Titan capsule, it delivers very wide and perfectly balanced mid and low frequencies. Sonovente recommends it for percussive sounds, including drums, percussion, guitar attack, piano hammer action, bass drum and bass slap.

The sE T2 has been designed to sound superb on virtually any sound source. Taking inspiration from some well-known European condensers, sE's priority was to design a microphone with enough capability to work at home, from whispering to shouting.
You can choose between four polar patterns, two low cut-offs and two attenuation pads. The T2 offers a perfectly balanced response in the high frequencies due to its very fast transient response, giving exceptional intelligibility.
Its suspension allows it to be positioned in a variety of original ways, such as upside down for drum and guitar amps or in a drum kick. It's not fragile, and can be taken live without fear.
