Presentation
The Shure QLXD4 V51 wireless receiver, part of the QLX-D digital wireless system, is a state-of-the-art piece of equipment designed to capture and process audio signals transmitted by transmitters such as the QLXD2 handheld microphones or QLXD1 bodypack transmitters. It combines professional features with simplified setup and operation, providing an optimal solution for a variety of audio applications.
With its auto-scanning capabilities, the QLXD4 quickly detects the clearest frequencies and synchronizes with the transmitter via an infrared (IR) link. Digital predictive switching diversity ensures a stable RF connection by detecting interference and switching to another frequency, while AES-256-bit encryption ensures transmission confidentiality. Efficient use of the RF spectrum allows 22 transmitters to occupy each 8 MHz channel, optimizing available space.
In terms of construction, the QLXD4 is equipped with a backlit LCD display that allows intuitive navigation and easy control of parameters. It also features frequency and power locks, and its robust die-cast aluminum housing ensures good resistance to wear and tear, making it ideal for professional environments.
The QLXD4 offers 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio conversion, ensuring accurate and faithful sound reproduction. With a latency of just 2.9 ms, this receiver ensures perfect synchronization with audio sources, crucial for live performances. Compatibility with Shure QLX-D series transmitters and the ability to manage up to 67 systems simultaneously per band enhance its versatility for complex audio environments.
Finally, users can monitor and adjust receiver settings remotely using Shure Wireless Workbench and ShurePlus Channels software, available on PC, Mac or iOS devices. This feature allows for responsiveness in live situations where quick changes are required. The half-rack format and detachable half-wave antennas make installation easy, making the QLXD4 a perfect choice for modern sound reinforcement needs.
