Wireless Microphone

The Shure SLXD4+E-K55 is a half-rack-mount mono digital wireless receiver operating in the K55 band (606 to 694 MHz). Compatible with SLX-D+ systems and featuring ShowLink Ease technology, it ensures a reliable RF link, intelligent interference management and advanced remote transmitter control.

ARTICLE N° 123721
The Shure SLXD4+E-K55 forms the heart of the brand’s new SLX-D+ wireless systems. Developed to meet the needs of service providers, technicians, integrators and institutional users, it combines Shure’s renowned digital audio quality with new monitoring and management features designed to simplify the operation of wireless systems.

Thanks to ShowLink® Ease technology, the receiver maintains constant communication with compatible transmitters in the SLX-D+ range. This dedicated link allows remote adjustment of several critical parameters without physically handling the transmitter. In the event of interference, the system can identify a new available frequency and make the necessary adjustments to ensure uninterrupted transmission.

Audio quality is based on 24-bit digital transmission offering over 118 dB of dynamic range. This architecture ensures natural reproduction of vocals and instruments whilst maintaining excellent signal stability, even in complex RF environments.

The SLXD4+ also features a wide 138 MHz tuning bandwidth, allowing for coverage of a wider range of usable frequencies and facilitating the deployment of multiple systems simultaneously. Depending on the available bandwidth, up to 11 systems can operate within a 6 MHz TV channel and up to 14 systems within an 8 MHz TV channel.

For professional installations, the receiver can be monitored via Wireless Workbench software or the WWB Mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. This centralised management enables real-time monitoring of RF performance, equipment configuration and maintenance of the wireless fleet.

The system also incorporates Shure’s proprietary Digital Feedback Reducer to automatically minimise the risk of feedback. Finally, AES-256 encryption ensures the confidentiality of audio communications in environments where transmission security is essential.

The Shure brand was founded in Chicago in 1925 and has gradually built a solid reputation in professional audio and vocal recording. For over 100 years, the company has been developing wireless systems, microphones and RF management solutions used on stage, in the studio and at conferences.

To get the most out of the Shure SLXD4+E-G65, consider using compatible active antennas to optimise RF reception in large spaces. You can also use an SB903 lithium-ion battery to power compatible transmitters and reduce battery usage. Finally, a reliable network cable facilitates connection to Wireless Workbench and ensures stable remote monitoring.
