The Steinberger Spirit XT-2 Standard electric bass, offered here in white, is a perfect ally for musicians on the move, also called the "Ultimate Travel Bass".

It is characterized by its lightweight and headless design, incorporating innovations such as the patented DoubleBall bridge and the precise Direct-Pull adjustment system, offering a ratio precision of 40:1.

This XT-2 combines a basswood body with a three-section maple neck, promoting a homogeneous and optimized resonance. Compact with its length of 98 cm and a weight of only 3.4 kg, it is designed for travel and fits easily in the cabin of an airplane.

Its headless structure makes it less sensitive to temperature variations, thus increasing its reliability. Equipped with a SlimTaper D profile, inspired by the 60s, the neck offers great playability with 24 medium-jumbo frets, a scale length of 86 cm and a radius of 35.5 cm.

The steel DoubleBall bridge, combined with the Direct-Pull adjustment system, guarantees optimal tuning and prolonged sustain. The absence of a headstock improves the balance of the bass and facilitates string changes, the XT-2 being mounted with Steinberger DoubleBall strings (.045-.105) and compatible with other strings thanks to the Single Ball String adapter.

Electronically, there are HB-1 and HB-2 humbucker pickups in the bridge and neck positions, allowing precise control of the sound thanks to individual volume and global tone controls.
