Novastar - Card IN 1x HDMI 2.1 / 1x DP 1.4 - H Series

Very large LED walls sometimes require the processing of an image that is much wider than that of a traditional video source. It is precisely in this type of setup that NovaStar’s 1x HDMI 2.1 / 1x DP 1.4 input card comes into its own. This H Series input card supports signals up to 8192 × 2304 at 60 Hz, providing ample headroom to drive panoramic displays or high-definition LED set-ups without having to systematically crop the source image.

The card features two separate digital interfaces: an HDMI 2.1 input and a DisplayPort 1.4 input. These are not designed to operate simultaneously, but allow you to select the connection type that matches the source being used. A computer fitted with a recent DisplayPort output can therefore be connected directly, as can a source with a high-bandwidth HDMI output.

Compatibility is not limited to the latest generations of interfaces. The NovaStar Card IN 1x HDMI 2.1 / 1x DP 1.4 also supports HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 1.3 signals, as well as DP 1.2 and DP 1.1. This backwards compatibility means the card is not restricted to the very latest sources alone, allowing for greater freedom in choosing the equipment connected to the H Series system.

Support for HDCP 2.3 completes the package for compatible protected content. Custom resolutions also offer the possibility of precisely adapting the signal to the specific dimensions of an LED screen or a particular display configuration.

Like the other cards in the NovaStar H Series modular system, the 1x HDMI 2.1 / 1x DP 1.4 Card features a plug-in installation and supports hot-swapping. Finally, the four status LEDs allow you to quickly check the activity and signal presence directly from the module.
