This NovaStar Card IN 2x HDMI 2.0 / 2x DP 1.2 input card combines two HDMI 2.0 inputs and two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs on a single card for H2, H5, H9 and H15 systems. The NovaStar Card IN 2x HDMI 2.0 / 2x DP 1.2 receiver card provides connectivity suitable for installations where several types of video sources need to be integrated into a single LED control system. When installed on the H2, H5, H9 or H15 from Novastar, this card provides both HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, making it easy to connect sources such as computers, graphics workstations or video equipment fitted with different digital outputs.

Configuring the inputs is one of the key features of the NovaStar Card IN 2x HDMI 2.0 / 2x DP 1.2. The card features four connectors, but they cannot all be used simultaneously. Three combinations are possible: two HDMI 2.0 sources, one HDMI 2.0 source alongside one DP 1.2 source, or two DisplayPort 1.2 sources. This configuration allows the card to be adapted to the actual range of sources used in the control room.

The HDMI 2.0 inputs are also compatible with HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 1.3. They can accept signals up to 4092 × 2263 at 60 Hz or 2188 × 4095 at 60 Hz, depending on the selected format. The DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces, meanwhile, are backwards compatible with DP 1.1 and can support configurations of up to 8192 × 1152 at 60 Hz. The resolution can also be adapted to the installation’s requirements, with the width and height configurable according to the system’s capabilities.

HDCP 2.2 compatibility completes this set of connectivity options and allows the integration of protected sources compatible with this standard. Four LED indicators show the validity status of the signals present on the inputs, providing a quick visual check directly on the card.
