Novastar - Card OUT 4x HDMI 1.4 - H Series

The NovaStar Card OUT 4x HDMI 1.4 – H Series output card adds four HDMI 1.4b video outputs to a NovaStar processing or switching system. It integrates directly into the H2, H5, H9 and H15 chassis and allows the processed signal to be routed to multiple displays or video equipment from a single card slot.

Its operation can be adapted to suit how the outputs are to be used. In independent mode, the four HDMI outputs operate separately and can each achieve a resolution of 2048 × 1152 at 60 Hz. This configuration is particularly suitable when multiple control screens, monitors or displays need to be fed with distinct signals.

Another configuration prioritises video outputs 2 and 4. These can then reach up to 3840 × 1080 at 60 Hz, whilst their content is automatically mirrored on outputs 1 and 3 respectively. This arrangement makes it possible, in particular, to display the same image on two linked HDMI connections without requiring any additional downstream processing.

The card supports several colour formats to accommodate the various connected devices. 8-bit signals can be transmitted in RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4 or YCbCr 4:2:2. YCbCr 4:4:4 is also available in 10-bit, which allows more information to be preserved in compatible content.
