Novastar - Card IN 4x VGA - H Series

The NovaStar Card IN 4x VGA – H Series is an input card that prioritises the number of channels available in a single slot. Its four VGA inputs allow multiple analogue video signals to be fed into the H Series architecture whilst maintaining a particularly clear layout within the chassis. This density of inputs can be useful when an installation still needs to utilise equipment fitted with a VGA output.

Each connector supports a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz. This resolution allows operation beyond Full HD 1920 × 1080 and corresponds in particular to 16:10 computer display formats. The card can therefore capture content from computers, presentation equipment or graphics systems using this analogue interface.

Once integrated into the H Series, the four sources become available within the chassis’s processing environment. The card is therefore not limited to providing additional connectors: it feeds the VGA signals into an architecture capable of utilising them alongside the other inputs and outputs installed in the processor or video wall switcher.

The presence of four LED indicators is also a practical feature during installation. Each channel has its own indicator, allowing you to visually check whether the expected signal is being detected correctly. This direct feedback enables you to quickly identify whether the problem lies with the source, the connection or the configuration, without having to immediately adjust the system’s advanced settings.

The NovaStar Card IN 4x VGA – H Series occupies a single input card slot and has no optical interfaces. Its format and specifications are therefore entirely geared towards acquiring VGA signals and integrating them into the H2, H5, H9 and H15 systems. It serves as a specialised extension for installations that need to retain VGA connectivity whilst integrating it into a more comprehensive NovaStar video processing chain.
